Eastenders is a pioneer of Nu Asian dance sounds, being one of the first DJs in Germany to blend Oriental and Indian music with modern downbeat, breaks, ambient, jazz and house. Inspired by various trips to London, Eastenders established oriental clubnights under the label "Indian Vibes" in locations such as Nachtleben, Frankfurt, or Centralstation Darmstadt, Germany, in the late 90s. Today he is resident DJ at "Silk", the highly acclaimed restaurant within Sven Väth's Cocoon Club in Frankfurt.
Eastenders also works as a music journalist for various newspapers and magazines and as radio producer at Hessischer Rundfunk where he hosts the show "YOU FM Lounge" every sunday night on YOU FM.
