Howard Marks

American songwriter, from Baltimore MD. Died Oct. 10, 1971 (age 61), Baltimore, MD, USA Wrote the song "Stomping Room Only" in 1940 which has been recorded by several artists, most famously by Ray Charles (as Stompin' Room Only) in 1961. wrote or co-wrote many of the songs for the band The Admirals
