American jazz pianist, organist and arranger; born January 29, 1921 in Boston, Massachusetts, died June 05, 2000 in Culver City, California A professional musician by the age of 16, Arnold worked with Frank Dailey (1938-'39), Jack Jenney (1939), Vaughan Monroe (1940-1942), with Glenn Miller ("Miller's Army Air Force Band"), Harry James, Charlie Parker, Lena Horne, Frank Sinatra, Bob Crosby, Spike Jones, Howard McGhee, Dizzy Gillespie, Harry "Sweets" Edison, Joe Pass, Barney Kessel, Ella Fitzgerald, Benny Carter and many others.
