German composer, arranger and sound engineer, born 21.04.1938 in Halberstadt, died in 1997. He was the founder of Compost-Tonstudio in Berlin. Together with Michael Korb, he composed "Highland Cathedral," which became a worldwide hit, served as the anthem of the Royal Constabulary in Hong Kong, and was even proposed as the Scottish national anthem. It is now one of the most popular bagpipe compositions in the world.
