Rapper from the Redfern Houses in Far Rockaway, Queens, New York City. Born October 21, 1982. Died June 11, 2007. Bundles first got his start as a child dancing in hip hop videos. By 16 he had transitioned to rapping, joining a NYC crew known as The G.R.I.T.S. (Greatest Rappers In The Streets) alongside the rapper later known as Skyzoo. In 2001 he moved in with Lupe Fiasco in Chicago and attempted to get a deal with 1st & 15th/Arista. This didn't work out so he returned to the Redfern Houses in Far Rock and begun his music career on the mixtape circuit alongside S5 which quickly reformed to Tha Riot Squad, while attending community college. By 2003, he had impressed DJ Clue? and was signed to Desert Storm Records. By mid 2005 he had approached Jim Jones in the club and politicked with him, where Jones was already impressed by his aura and freestyle ability, having him join ByrdGang, as he & DJ Clue? begun to amicably part ways. During Jones rise to fame from 2006-2007, Stack Bundles remained by his side as a Byrdgang Records/Asylum Records artist. In the early hours of June 11, 2007, Bundles was killed with a shot to the head & neck while opening the front door of his apartment building. His proposed debut album but without a proper tracklist "Rock Star" which had been sitting in the files of various recording studios became hotly anticipated, but nobody was able to take control of the situation.
