German actor and musician, born 1964 in Borken, Germany. In the 1980's, he was drummer of the Berlin-based Punk band The Waltons. Later, he moved to Hamburg and joined the Punk band Dackelblut in 1992. When the band split, he became co-founder of the comedy trio Studio Braun, which eventually had a brainchild called Fraktus, an imaginary pioneering Techno.band from Germany. The band itself recorded albums and played a central role in the mockumentary movie about this band, which was released in 2012. Starting from 2008, Palminger went solo and from this point, he was leader of several Jazz ensembles. Occasionally, he is also active as an actor in underground-movies and is active as composer of theatre music. Since 2010, he frequently collaborates with Carsten “Erobique” Meyer / Carsten “Erobique” Meyer.
