American jazz guitarist Born May 14, 1956 in Springfield, Massachusetts Forman grew up in Massachusetts, Texas, and the San Francisco Bay area, and early in his career (1978 to 1982) worked with with jazz saxophonist Richie Cole. During the 1980s and 1990s, he recorded for Muse Records, Concord Jazz and Kamei Recordings. In the 2000s, he began releasing albums on his own B4Man Music label. Forman moved to Los Angeles in the early 2000s to teach at the University of Southern California's Thornton School of Music. During the 2010s, Forman wrote a one-person theatrical piece titled 'The Red Guitar' in which he acted and played music. In the early 2020s, Forman moved back to Northern California, this time settling in Carmel Valley, near Monterey and Carmel.
