Kora player. Born 1976 in The Gambia. Grandson of Alhaji Bai Konte, son of Amadu Bansang Jobarteh, nephew of Malamini Jobarteh and Dembo Konte. Brother of Sanjally Jobarteh and uncle of Sona Jobarteh. Began playing the calabash, took up the kora after moving to Denmark.
