Arif Mardin

Turkish-American music producer born March 15, 1932 in Istanbul, Turkey and died June 25, 2006 in New York, New York, USA. Father of Joe Mardin. He worked with a wide range of artists, across many different styles and genres of music. Arrived in America having won the inaugural Quincy Jones scholarship at the Berklee College of Music.
