Floorplan is a father-and-daughter DJ and production duo from Detroit, Michigan, USA. The project consists of Robert Hood (born 1965, Detroit), a founding figure of Detroit techno, and his daughter Lyric Hood. Lyric became part of Floorplan in 2016, when she was invited to collaborate on the track 1029079. Since then, Floorplan has functioned as a joint project, combining Robert Hood’s long-established background in techno and house with Lyric Hood’s vocal and creative contributions. The duo is known for releases that blend house, techno, and gospel-inspired elements.
