German percussionist, born 1962 in Kiel. Studied percussion at Hochschule Für Musik, Freiburg. Played as soloist with Klangforum Wien, Ensemble Modern, MusikFabrik, Münchener Kammerorchester. Member of Les Percussions de Strasbourg since 1992. Founding member of Ensemble SurPlus and Trio SurPlus. Teaching at Hochschule Für Künste Bremen.
