Christoph Noppeney

German viola player and singer in the Krautrock era from Wuppertal. He was first part of the studio band of Hoelderlin in 1970 and became part of the regular line-up of the band in 1971. In the later stage, he was the member, who often weared masks on the stage. He played with the band until 1978, when he left to finish his degree in medicine. He later settled down as children's doctor in Solingen.
