Alessandro Besozzi was an Italian composer and virtuoso oboist of the Baroque period. He was born on 22 July 1702. Although he composed numerous chamber works, most of them were not published until after his death in 1775. Alessandro was brother of Antonio and Girolamo Besozzi and uncle of Carlo Besozzi.
