Deniz Tek

American singer, guitarist and songwriter and medical doctor, born November 10, 1952 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA. Tek started his first band in 1965 and spent a year living in Australia in 1967. Tek emigrated to Australia in 1972. He went on to form bands including TV Jones, Radio Birdman and The Visitors, as well as playing with the Angie Pepper Band and New Race. Tek moved back to America in the early 1980s. After spending time working as a doctor, flight surgeon and aviator he began a solo career in 1992.
