Karl "Tuff Enuff" Brown and Matt "Jam" Lamont met in 1993 and released their first productions via their management company's label Fifty First Recordings in the mid-1990s.
Their label, Unda-Vybe Music, a Fifty First subsidiary, was active between 1997 and 2000 (when they had their own show on Kiss FM).
