Lowell Fulson AKA Lowell Fulsom / His 1960's recordings on the Kent Records label were released as "Lowell Fulsom". American blues guitarist, singer and songwriter, born 31 March 1921 in Chocktaw Indian Reservation, Tulsa, Oklahoma, died 6 March 1999 in Long Beach, California. Fulson's recording career started in 1946 and lasted well into the 1990's. His best known songs are Three O'Clock Blues (1948), Reconsider Baby (1954, later covered by Elvis Presley) and Tramp (1967, and as a duet by Otis Redding & Carla Thomas). Brother of Martin Fulson, with whom he recorded in the late 1940s.
