French house music duo from Paris.
Cyril Bodin and Gregory Louis met in 1996. Cyril has been DJing since he was 17 and had played in many clubs in Paris, while Greg had been playing piano since he was 5. Cyril was a friend of Romain Tranchart from Modjo, and Greg was the best friend of Raw Man (Romain Séo) from The Buffalo Bunch. Raw Man and Greg (who were in a rock band called Freefall) were looking for a singer for a musical project, and Romain Tranchart from Modjo introduced them to Cyril. After getting to know each other, Greg and Cyril founded the band Aloud in 2000. That same year, Greg founded the label We Rock Music with Romain Séo (aka Raw Man) & Romain Carles. In 2001, the public discovered Aloud thanks to their remix of Modjo's "What I Mean." In 2003, they released their first EP, "Broadband" on We Rock Music (followed by "Track Lifting," featuring remixes by Raw Man, Le Knight Club, and Aloud themselves). Within six months, they produced their debut album with Eric Chedeville (aka Rico (6)) from Le Knight Club at Crydamoure Studios, releasing it on Ministry of Sound in 2004.
Romain Séo & Cyril Bodin later formed the rock band Amen Birdmen.
