“"Pink Rim Palm Tree" Island labels ℗ 1969 Island Records Ltd. Recorded at Olympic Sound Studios, London. Made & printed in England. All songs copyright B. Feldman & Co. Ltd, trading as Renaissance Music. Different label with pink rim and palm Island, without the usual text on the rim regarding copyright warnings. See image. This is probably from the same UK batch of the early seventies reissue. It can be traced back to be bought in 1974 in The Netherlands. However there is no information on the album where it is made. Although it has exactly the same matrix runout codes as the UK version. And the original inner sleeve reads "Made in Great Britain". The mastering credits are from a different source and are not found on the album. Only the mentioning of "Pecko" in the matrix-runout code.”

“First UK version. 1969 release year on paper labels, but this cassette was actually released in 1970. Indeed, Nick Drake's Five Leaves Left - CIR 15011 - appears as "Out this month" on Tape Recording Magazine, January 1970 (pag. 31), whereas Jethro Tull's Benefit - CIR 15020 - appears as "Recent Releases" on Tape Recording Magazine, October 1970 (pag. 315). Finally, a review of Renaissance UK Pink Island cassette release can be found at "Musicassette Review" section in Tape Recording Magazine, September 1970 (pag. 300). Thus, also this cassette was published in 1970.”
