“The rights societies printed on labels suggest that this version was manufactured for the Western European market. Except for this, it seems identical to the German release. Track B5 (We're Going To Live For A Very Long Time) runs endlessly in a locked groove, hence no duration mentioned in track listing above. No duration listed for track B5 (see label image) and on this Greek pressing there is no locked groove. “Despite some labels showing "Play To Win" is 3:30 it appears on some stampers/matrices it actually plays the 7:29 12" version. However this is not true of all pressings, and it appears to be very slight differences in the matrix on Side A that will identify. Some labels list the playing time as 7:29. Safest to check with your seller first as to the width of this track on the playing surface, compared with the previous track. If it's half the width then the label is correct, and not the listing above.”

“Basic tracks for Penthouse Side recorded in Sheffield and mixed (apart from 'Let's All Make A Bomb') at Red Bus Studios. 'Let's All Make A Bomb' recorded in Sheffield, mixed at The Townhouse. Basic tracks for Pavement Side (except '(We Don't Need This) Fascist Groove Thang') recorded at Maison Rouge, mixed at Townhouse. '(We Don't Need This) Fascist Groove Thang' recorded and mixed at The Townhouse. Licensed courtesy of Universal Music Operations Limited. ℗ 1981 Virgin Records Limited. © 2026 SDE Records Limited. Made in the EU. Packaged in a standard Blu-ray plastic case with an exclusive and "reflective" SDE Surround Series slip-case. Features a 12-page booklet including an essay on the album by Alex Petridis, dated February 2026 and an essay by David Kosten on mixing the album in Dolby Atmos, dated January 2026. Blu-ray authored at Type 40. Notes on the flat transfer of the original 1981 Mix: 'We're Going To Live For A Very Long Time' originally went on 'forever', on vinyl, thanks to a locked groove for the initial pressing. On the 1981 EQ'd production masters used to press the vinyl (and used for the flat transfer on this blu-ray release) this song simply comes to and end as the tape machine is stopped (or the tape runs out). With Martyn Ware's permission we have deliberately left it in place, only for the flat transfer. Additional audio stream info: Track 1-9 Dolby Atmos (Dolby TrueHD 7.1) 48 kHz / 24 Bit Track 1-9 DTS-HD MA 5.1 96 kHz / 24 Bit Track 10-18 LPCM 2.0 96 kHz / 24 Bit Track 10-18 LCPM 2.0 192 kHz / 24 Bit All tracks are newly mixed by David Kosten, except the '1981 Original Mix (Flat Transfer)'.”
