“------------------Notes on mispress: This is a mispress of [r541557]. For side A, the master was recorded erroneously with the content of side A of [r3087478]. The complete record looks identical to the regular Skinny Puppy LP, but plays Poison on side A and Skinny Puppy on side B. When checking the runout information, the runout numbers correspond both to the Skinny Puppy release (see images). This leads to the conclusion, that not a wrong master was pressed on side A, but the Skinny Puppy master for side A was recorded with the wrong content. The most obvious reason for the mispress can be concluded via the catalog numbers of the releases. Skinny Puppy: 064-7 98037 1 Poison: 064-7 98038 1 This means, the master recorder took a neighboring master content to transfer it to the wrong master. The submission lists every detail given on the record, which is entered in the submission fields. The submission tracklist corresponds to the actual tracklist on the copy, the one listed on the sleeve is written on the release notes (to make things complicated: Additionally, there is a misprinted tracklist on the back sleeve). Track credits are ascribed for Poison on tracks A1-A6 and for Skinny Puppy for tracks B1-B5. As a source for the Poison data, [r3087478] was taken, but only the readable track credits on the labels were used. -----------------Other release notes on the release itself: Made in EEC. Track B3 Circustance is misspelled Circumstance on label. This album was originally intended to have 11 tracks, but the song which was supposed to be the 10th track, "Left Hand Shake", had to be dropped due to problems getting the rights to use some samples of Timothy Leary speaking. This pressing is the only commercial 1992 vinyl pressing. Some are often mis-identified as UK pressings, due to an erroneous "Made in the U.K." sticker affixed by distributors to import copies. This is confirmed by examination of the labels - they are always in German and English. A rumored Canadian original pressing has never been confirmed.”

Under license to Capitol Records-EMI of Canada Limited Made in Holland -------------- Incidental info: Track 10 should have been "Left Handshake", but was omitted from the album because the band was unable to get clearance for the Timothy Leary samples taken from Turn On, Tune In, Drop Out, a recording for recreational background settings during LSD parties. Henry Saperstein, owner of the copyright on the recordings in question, denied the band use of the samples (even though Leary himself did not mind). Bootlegs of the track were highly sought by fans. It was later released by the band as a limited edition CD called "[r=11830]" in 2000. Several different mixes of "Left Handshake" appear to exist, one of which does not have Ogre's lyrics and has a much denser instrumental mix. No lyrics are included in the packaging, as Ogre considered them to be too personal.”
