“Gold (burnt sienna) Verve/Folkways label. FV/FVS-9019 is on the rear jacket; FVS-9019 elsewhere. This is a reissue of the Folkways 1958 recording, FA 2327. Side 1 is identical to that recording; side 2 has tracks rearranged a bit and "I Love You Baby" instead of "Boogie Baby" (which may simply be a change in title). The labels on this release are slightly different from [r14836245] in that all the text below the Folkways logo is placed higher and closer to the logo. "Electronically enhanced for STEREO reproduction" on the front jacket. "New words & Music Copy." on the labels.”

“Catalogue #: FW 2327 on jacket front; FA 2327 on spine; FA-2327 on labels. The jacket comes with an extra piece of cardboard forming a 2nd "pocket". The "face" in runouts is a circle with two "eye" dots, and a slash "nose" from the center and exiting the circle at 7:00. This is a textured black jacket surface with textured red/black cover art and text pasted over the surface and wrapped over the spine to the rear jacket. "Library of Congress Catalogue Card No. R 58-482". The Folkways Records And Service Corp. address on the jacket rear and labels is 701 7th Ave., N.Y.C. "Copyright © 1958 by Folkways Records & Service NYC, USA." on side A label towards top; "Copyright © 1958 by Folkways Records & Service Corp" at bottom of side B label. "Long Playing Non-Breakable Micro Groove 33-1/3 RPM" on side B label. Includes a 6-page folded booklet with notes and song lyrics. "Litho in U.S.A." with elongated Union label above "Offset Printing". Some releases evidently had an 8-page booklet with a "Photo by David Ghar." See [r12270885]. That language appears on this booklet, but there is no photo in the booklet or on the jacket.”
