“Two single sided LP test pressings for the original 1972 release with artist, album title and track names handwritten in green ink on white labels, housed in plain white paper sleeves. The machine stamped matrices are: ILPS 9184 A-1U on the first disc, with a 1 faintly stamped at 9 o'clock and a G faintly stamped at 3 o'clock. LPFB is stamped in the same area on the blank B side. ILPS 9184 B-1U on the second disc, with a 1 faintly stamped at 9 o'clock and a G faintly stamped at 3 o'clock. LPFB is stamped in the same area on the blank B side. This item came from a serious Island Records collector, who had acquired many other rarities and test pressings during the 1960s and 1970s. This record also featured in Record Collector magazine in March 2018, page 18.”

Rear sleeve states Printed in England by Robor Limited. Contrary to popular belief, Joe Boyd did not produce "Pink Moon." On page 208 of Joe Boyd's "White Bicycles" he writes, "In early 1971, after I had moved to California, he [John Wood] produced 'Pink Moon' as starkly and simply as Nick intended."
