In recognition of her song Cycles on the War Era, "There is no War Poetry" to lyrics by Vadim Shefner and "Restless Memory" to lyrics by Michael Dudin and others, Zlata received her laureate at the all-Russian competition dedicated to the Anniversary of the Victory over Fascism (Leningrad). The songs' lyrics where written by famous poets who took part in the War and experienced its terrible events: Michael Dudin, Olga Berggoltz, Sergei Orlov, Rasul Gamzatov, Vadim Shefner, Riza Halid and Pavel Shubin. Zlata's songs are painfully tragic and possess a special melodic charm.
