Singer Janey Winterbauer (of Astronaut Wife) and Marc Perlman (of the Jayhawks) have joined together in a tuneful, melancholy, soulful collaboration on their debut EP 25:32:47. Working with producer/arranger Ed Ackerson, Winterbauer and Perlman have conjured a perfect atmosphere for Perlman's lyrical songcraft and Winterbauer's nuanced singing. Heart-searching words and haunting melodies hint at the previous work of both artists, but this collaboration is a new and unique perspective on both Janey and Marc's talents and ideas.
The EP features guest appearances from Gary Louris and Tim O'Reagan (Jayhawks), Peter Anderson (Polara, Iffy), and producer Ackerson.
