This is not an individual release. It is CD14 of the limited box set: The Golden Era of Living Stereo: The Remastered Collector’s Edition. Recording: New York City, Manhattan Center, January 29/30, 1959. * Original LPs: LM-2345 (Mono) / LSC-2345 (Stereo) - Released August 21, 1959 * Matrix Nos.: K2RB-0945 (track 1); K2RB-0946 (track 2). * LP Matrix Nos.: K2RP-1140 (track 1) & K2RP-1141 (track 2) (Mono) / K2RY-1142 (track 1) & K2RY-1143 (track 2) (Stereo). * Booklet note: The original LP issue of LSC-2345 advertises "Bell's by Schulmerich - Cannon by Carroll" on it's cover. When restoring the original recordings from the 2- and 3-track master tapes, it appeared that the bells and cannon sound effects had been sampled to the original recording at a very late stage of LP production. The original source tape for these sound effects has been lost. Instead of artificially adding effects from other sources than the originals, we decided to issue the original recording remastered from tape in this edition without sound effects added. Transferred from the original 2-track/3-track analogue tapes at Iron Mountain Digital Studios. Mixed and mastered at b-sharp music & media solutions, using 24 bit / 192 kHz technology.
