No bonus track "Infiltrator" as in 1998 release 言わずと知れたUKデス・メタル界の重鎮ボルト・スロワー、後期アルバムを再発! 現代OSDMリバイバルに大きな影響を与えるバンド後期の名作6th!! 言わずと知れたUKデス・メタル界の重鎮ボルト・スロワー、後期アルバムを再発! 1986年結成。1stアルバム『In Battle There Is No Law』リリース時はグラインド・コア的なスタイルを色濃く出していたが、名門イヤーエイク移籍後/2ndアルバム『Realm of Chaos』以降はデス・メタル的アプローチを強めていく。とはいえハードコア出自の原点が揺るがず、リフの質感は典型的なメタル・マナーとは距離を置いた、唯一無二のものを提示。曲のスピードを落としヘヴィネスを強調していくことで、独自のスタイルが極められていった。 本作は1998年発売の6thアルバム。度重なるイヤーエイクとのトラブルから避けメタル・ブレイドへ移籍。これまでよりもさらに曲のテンポを落としながら従来のボルト・スロワー節ともいえるリフの強度はそのままに、ヘヴィさを追求していった。そのスタイルは、2010年代後半に入り世界各国で盛り上がりを見せるオールド・スクール・デス・メタル・リバイバル/影響下の若きバンドに大きな影響を与え、ある種のテンプレートとして再評価されている。非メタルながらキャッチーなギター・フレーズも聴きどころのひとつ。 Made in Japan.
