This from Broken Arrow Issue 42 - (article written by Friedrich Kappner) "Copies of ELDORADO have started circulating again. They have come to light in Germany where one shop in Dusseldorf claims to have sold over 300 alone. This Australian release was a limited edition of 5,000 copies and it seems apparent that the ones now in circulation are counterfeit. A spokesperson for WEA in Germany has said that there are no plans to re-release the mini LP and that they are taking legal action to prevent anymore counterfeit records being circulated. There are a few slight changes to the original that will identify the illegal version: Printing Quality: ORIGINAL - Little notes on the back can be read easily-not blurred COUNTERFEIT - Cover has scratches and bends from the original are visible as tiny light lines, especially on back. Little notes are hard to read. Cover Color: ORIGINAL - Mid-lilac COUNTERFEIT - Rather light, turning to brown. Label: ORIGINAL - Steamboat has one trail of smoke. Little dots in the Reprise logo are rather big. COUNTERFEIT - Steamboat has two trails of smoke. Dots are quite small. Matrix Numbers and Catalogue Numbers are the same. (ARTICLE was written by Friedrich Kappner) NOTE: Matrix Numbers seems to be different from original. No infos about country of origin on label or cover. Catalogue number on back cover and barcode is 25919-1 but on the cover spine only of some unofficial versions it is 25917-1. The original has 25919-1 on the spine. The original has Reprise Records on spine. Reprise Records is missing on the spine of at least some unofficial versions.
