This is an early Australian release. Very similar to Tommy and Tommy but while vinyl is pressed in Australia by Festival Records, all other components (outer box, gatefold cover, libretto book, inner sleeves, etc.) are printed in the US. The etched runout/matrix numbers correspond with Festival Records Australia pressings, as does the size and shape of the label pressing ring. Labels state at bottom: 1972 A&M/ODE RECORDS. There is no other rim text on labels. Pressing ring is very similar to the Festival Records pressings. Note that Sides 1 & 4 are on Record 1 and 2 & 3 are on Record 2. Comes in an outer box sleeve with a gatefold inner sleeve and booklet (libretto) with lyrics and elaborate individual artworks for each song.
