Notes

Australian WRC pressing, sourced from original stampers and featuring unique sleeve art. Mono and stereo versions have an identical sleeve and the same number on the back (FE/97) - the mono version has "FE-97" on beige 'strobe' labels, while the stereo has "SFE-97" on green 'strobe' labels. The stereo was issued with a small "S" sticker on the front of the sleeve. Issued as a free 'ambassador' LP for members, in return for introducing in a new member to the club. FE/97 and /98 were the last pair of new-release 'ambassador' LPs issued - the ambassador system was revamped in November 1965, with a larger selection of [previously-issued] LPs substituted for the new releases, which would be difficult for members to acquire, month after month, without straining their friendships. No number for the Flinders Lane address. Reissued in July & August 1967, as a 'dividend' LP, offered at a low price ($1.80 vs the regular $3.75) for club members who had bought one LP or more in the previous 12 months - look for the number 299 with the Flinders Lane address. World Record Club: Flinders Lane, Melbourne 177 Elizabeth Street, Sydney Newspaper House, 93 Queen Street Brisbane 60 Pulteney Street, Adelaide Barnett's Buildings, Council Avenue, Perth
