**Unofficial vinyl pressing of John Mayer’s Room For Squares, sold through independent record stores before the album received an official vinyl release in 2011. This version uses artwork identical to the 2001 CD, including the CD barcode (8 6969-82395-1 1). No catalog number appears on the spine or jacket. Colors are slightly subdued compared to later official vinyl editions, and jacket stock is thinner than standard major-label pressings. Purchased new and sealed at an independent record store in Greenwich Village, New York City, circa 2001–2002. Shrink wrap includes a price sticker ($8.99) typical of early-2000s indie shop inventory. The exterior hype sticker reads “Features: No Such Thing & 3X5.” Exact manufacturing location and date are unknown.
