Notes

Original compilation reel made by noted jazz historian, discographer and big band radio show host Bill Korst from acetate records he'd personally recorded. Korst made four Jimmy Dale reels. The whereabouts of the first reel is unknown to me. This is the second reel. I have the third and fourth and they will eventually be added. Tracklist and performer credit info is based on his handwritten tracklist sheets, with errors corrected to match what is actually on the tape. Al Benson does patter, promotional announcements, song intros and interacts with the audience and his WGES radio colleagues during Tracks 16 through 20. Track 15 and Track 21 are the same performance but Track 21 includes Al Benson's intro. Track 15 lacks the intro and appears on Rainy Sunday (Apollo N.Y.C. About 1947) / Where Or When.
