Notes

Three label variants exist with the original blue Liberty label design and one with the 1970 black labels. All contain significant errors. This label version has: • Full title printed on three lines as THE GROUNDHOGS BLUES / OBITUARY—featuring / Rev. "T.S." McPhee • "A Product of Liberty/U.A. Records Ltd." printed above "STEREO" at right. • Reversed track durations for A1 and A2: the actual times are A1 = 3:45, A2 = 5:15 Blues Obituary has a similar label-design, but without the Liberty/U.A. notice. Blues Obituary has the full title printed on two lines, no Liberty/U.A. notice, and reverses the timings of track A1 to 4:00 and A4 to 5:15 It also lacks the U.A. notice. The black label re-pressing has the title on three lines, lacks the Liberty/U.K. notice, and finally gets the A-side timings right - but lists the songs in the wrong order. Fully-laminated sleeve. On labels: ℗ 1969 Rear sleeve: Groundhogs Blues Obituary featuring Rev. (T.S.) McPhee Recorded during June 1969 at the Marquee Studios, London. Timings above are as shown on labels. True durations for A1-A4 are 3:45, 5:15, 5:15, and 4:07, respectively.
