Wait Till You Hear It

Liner notes: “When wondering through instruments, sounds, keystrokes, notes, styles, emotions and influences…. the thrill of magic happens” Since the first track “Don’t be sad” did not fit my previous album "Teardrops", I felt compelled to create additional music that complemented this piece and allowed me to further explore the expressive sound of the piano. Through continuous playing and experimentation, more pieces emerged that aligned with my vision of an album that is accessible, light, organic and (I hope) inspirational. Again, some of the tracks are influenced by my musical heroes; you might recognise their impact. The tracks are composed and arranged in 2024, except for - “Don’t be sad” is from 2003 and - “A mountain high, a voice within” is from 2005 I would like to thank Jean Paul van Engelen for his help with refining, mixing and ultimately mastering the 14 tracks. I would also like to thank Ron Boots for giving me the opportunity to make this album happen.
