Copyright holder for David L. Fulton (b. 1944), renowned US collector of bowed stringed instruments. In May 1997, he established the "David and Amy Fulton Foundation" with his wife Amy Fulton (b. 1955), registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, to manage his eponymous collection of rare antique violins, violas, cellos, and bows. In 2018, David and Amy donated their collection to the Foundation, which continues to use the proceeds from their sale to help charitable and Jewish organizations, musical causes, and medical research. With most of the collection sold by 2025, the Foundation retained a smaller selection of 16 instruments: Violins ➳ 1698 Pietro Guarneri di Mantova 'ex-Shapiro/Little Petrus' ➳ 1709 Antonio Stradivari 'La Pucelle' ➳ 1713 Stradivari 'Baron d'Assignies' ➳ 1714 Stradivari 'General Kyd/Perlman' ➳ 1715 Stradivari 'ex-Marsick' ➳ 1719 Stradivari 'ex-Duke of Alba/Herzog, Coronation' ➳ 1733 Stradivari 'Sassoon' ➳ 1737 Guarneri del Gesù 'King Joseph' ➳ 1742 del Gesù 'Lord Wilton' Violas ➵ ca.1580 Gasparo Da Salò 'Krasner/Kelley' ➵ 1676 Andrea Guarneri "ex-Landau/Conte Vitale" ➵ 1793 Giuseppe Guadagnini 'Rolla/ex-Wanamaker' Violoncellos ➸ 1713 Stradivari 'Bass of Spain/ex-Adam' ➸ 1737 Domenico Montagnana 'George Gudgeon' ➸ 1739 Pietro Guarneri II 'Beatrice Harrison' Bows 4× by Francois Xavier Tourte and Dominique Peccatte
