Mark Five Studios

Recording studio in Greenville, South Carolina, active from 1961 until 1993, when the operation moved to Nashville, Tennessee. Owned by Joe Huffman. Sometimes shown as "Mark V Studios." From 1961 to 1990, Mark V studio was a nationally respected producer of music for many recording artists and labels. some of the earliest recordings of modern gospel, rockabilly, and country music were done at mark v. many of the artists in the gmp archive recorded here, like moses dillard, ann sexton, the trav'lers, and many others.
