Force Inc. Music Works

German label. Label Code: LC 6001 / LC 06001 "Force Inc. Music Works" was founded in September 1991 by Achim Szepanski. In the following 14 years the catalog was distributed through EFA Medien GmbH (or EFA), which went defunct in 2004, taking Force Inc. and other labels with it in its fall. Other distributors of Force Inc. in these years were DMD, PIAS (NL) and SRD (UK). Since 2006 the Force Inc. label family (Force Inc., Mille Plateaux and Force Tracks) is again run by Achim Szepanski's Disco Inc. Ltd. and distributed by Intergroove, Rough Trade and Discomania. In 2008 the name and registration of the previous sublabel Mille Plateaux was acquired by a new owner, relaunching the label in 2010 with a new artist roster. Original Force Inc was relaunched in November 2017 The missing CD release FIM-1-011 CD was eventually released on Force Inc.'s sublabel Intense Recordings as INS-1-011 CD, titled "Imaginary Landscapes". FIM 010: unique cover. FIM 011-018: silver label sleeve with black printed and boxed "Force Inc Music Works" (011(?), 012 & 013 came with an info sticker on it). FIM 019-024: silver/black label sleeve with white printed logo and "TERROR ON WAX" printed around the hole/die cut. FIM 025-032: red label sleeve with silver printed logo. FIM 033-045: black label sleeve with silver logo on a red star. FIM 046-057, 059-062, 067, 068, 070-072, 074-077, 079, 080, 083, 086-088, 090-092, 094, 095, 097-099, 101-110. 112, 113 : silver label sleeve with black printed logo (FIM 090 came with an info sticker on it).
