Troutman Sound Labs

Begun in 1977, Troutman Enterprises, which was owned equally by the brothers Roger Troutman, Larry Troutman, Lester Troutman, Zapp Troutman and Rufus Troutman, encompasses Troutman Sound Labs, a record production division, and Troutman Construction, run by brother Rufus, which handles the building contracts. The original capital for the business came from Zapp's musical success, but beyond that the brothers felt a need to repay the community that then their start.
