Deutschlandhalle

Deutschlandhalle was an arena in the Westend neighbourhood of Berlin, Germany. The venue was inaugurated on 29 November 1935 by Adolf Hitler for the 1936 Summer Olympics. The building was granted landmark status in 1995, but on 3 December 2011, after being closed for multiple times for repairs, the building was demolished. A new exhibition hall "CityCube Berlin," was built on the site, opened 2014. Also appears as Deutschland Halle or West Berlin's Deutschlandhallen.
