Chris Editions was a Zambian record label active during the mid 1970s, founded and managed by Zambian businessman and furniture company owner, Chris Siwila Ndhlovu. Operating primarily between 1976 and 1978, the label distributed a range of Zambian popular music, including Zamrock, Kalindula, and Zairean rumba. The label developed during the height of the Zamrock era, a period marked by heavier guitar‑driven sounds and increased experimentation among Copperbelt bands. Chris Editions issued several recordings by Ngozi Family, led by guitarist Paul Ngozi, along with releases connected to drummer Chrissy Zebby Tembo, whose work with members of the Ngozi Family appeared on the label. Notable releases under the Chris Editions imprint include Paul Ngozi / Ngozi Family titles such as Viva Ngozi (1976), 45,000 Volts (1977), and Bad Character (1977), as well as Mike Nyoni's Kawalala. Zacks Daddy Mazumbo’s early single “Nina Yang Atoka” also appeared under the Chris Editions name. Although short‑lived, Chris Editions stood alongside labels such as Zambia Music Parlour (ZMP) and Teal Record Company Ltd. Zambia as a contributor to Zambia’s early recording industry during the 1970s. With the rise of international interest in Zamrock in the 2010s and beyond, recordings originally released on Chris Editions have received renewed attention, leading to archival reissues of multiple albums from the label’s catalog. Not to be confused with the similarly named Kenyan label Editions Chris
