Kaapelitehdas is a cultural center in Helsinki, Finland. It was founded in 1987, when artists took over a defunct cable factory building, originally built in 1943. Since 1991, the building has been owned by the City of Helsinki, and today it is the largest cultural center in Finland. The building has a total of 250 tenants from various fields of art and also has five halls where various events are organized, including live concerts.
