AGI Media is a group of companies forming part of ASG (AGI-Shorewood Group), manufacturers of various packaging products for the retail sector, including the music/video/multimedia/games markets.
AGI Media was formed in 2000 by ultimate parent company at the time "Westvaco Corp" due to its acquisition of the Impac Group Inc. and operated under the umbrella of immediate parent holding company AGI World
Subsequently on Jan 2002 'Westvaco Corp' merged with the 'Mead Corp' to form 'MeadWestvaco', In 2010, MeadWestvaco (MWV) agrees to sell it's media & entertainment business's, AGI World operating as AGI Media, AGI Amaray and AGI Polymatrix, to Atlas Industrial Holding Company LLC. In 2012 Atlas Holdings merges AGI World with International Papers Shorewood Packaging to create ASG (AGI-Shorewood Group)
Headquartered in London, England, ASG operates 17 facilities in England, Ireland, Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Poland, Australia, and the United States.
