Peter Clayton

Canadian producer, creative director, advertising executive, and record company executive. Worked at Toronto ad agency J. Walter Thompson Company in the late 1950s and early 1960s. In 1960 he was elected President of the Toronto Copy Writers Club. He moved to ad agency McCann-Erickson in Toronto during the 1960s (at one point was the Vice President) where he worked with Jack Richardson. Co-founder in 1967 of Nimbus 9 Productions Limited and manager of their Umbrella (2) label when it launched. Co-founder in 1978 of SQN Records Limited.
