Swedish and American blues guitarist, slide guitarist and singer and songwriter, born April 1, 1963 in Brooklyn, New York.
He left the United States in 1996 and has since lived in Stockholm, where he, among other things, started a blues jam at the jazz club Stampen in the Old Town. The blues jam became a cultural institution and the hub of Stockholm's blues scene. Since February 2016, Kramer's blues jam has been held at the music bar Engelen in the Old Town.
During his career, Kramer has toured internationally and recorded albums with, among others, Taj Mahal, Junior Wells, Eric Bibb and Toumani Diabaté.
In the fall of 2013, Kramer released the novel Out of the Blues, which depicts the challenges of a young musician on the New York blues scene.
In 2015, Kramer was recognized as a Master Blues Artist and was inducted into the International Blues Hall of Fame.
