Originally the vocalist and rhythm guitarist with the influential early Seattle grunge band Skin Yard. In 1989, he started Gruntruck as a side project with former Skin Yard drummer Norman Scott. Gruntruck became his main group when Skin Yard split in 1993. Born 1 April 1961, Ben passed away January 28, 2008
