Andy Watson

Trombonist from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire (UK). At the age of 17 he joined the Royal Air Force as a musician and reached the rank of Sergeant spending most of his career in The Central Band and in the RAF Squadronnaires. In 2007, after 22 years service, Andy left the RAF to become freelance, and has played in several West End and touring shows, including Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Cabaret, Bugle Boy and The Rat Pack, as well as playing with big bands including Back to Basie, Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra, and the BBC Big Band.
