Alfred Flaszynski

Polish classical trombonist, died in 1985. Upon his arrival in Scotland in 1944 he did forestry work, then played the violin professionally, and became 1st trombone of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra .In 1953, he arrived on the London scene, as the new 1st trombonist of the Philharmonia Orchestra.
