American songwriter. Born April 29, 1934 Died December 3, 2013 (age of 79). He charted four times between 1958 and 1977 including the #1 U.K. song "When" by The Kalin Twins (also #1 U.S. R&B & #13 U.S. Country) in 1958 (co-written by Paul Evans). He wrote the English lyrics to "The Good Life" (music by Sacha Distel), which became a big hit for Tony Bennett in 1963 and has been covered numerous times.
