Joca Martins, stage name of João Luiz Nolte Martins (Pelotas, January 31, 1968) is a Brazilian nativist music singer.
Joca studied at Colégio Gonzaga in Pelotas, from 1974 to 1981, and at Conjunto Agropecuário Visconde da Graça, from 1982 to 1986, where he graduated as a technician in agriculture. He did not complete his degree in singing at the Federal University of Pelotas.
Joca Martins is considered one of the biggest names in Rio Grande do Sul music.
It has been treading the roads of southern Brazil, since 1986, between festivals and presentations, which has won, in addition to the affection of the public, several awards.
