George Eddy

American big band leader, saxophonist, arranger, & publisher. Born March 24, 1914 Jacksonville, Florida, USA. Died April 19, 1989 (age of 75) in Vero Beach, Florida, USA. The "George Eddy" pseudonym was used mostly for songs Paxton wrote with Mark Barkan & Sandy Baron, including "The Writing on the Wall", "Let True Love Begin", "Mr. Happiness", and "Flying Blue Angels". Paxton also played trombone but mostly saxophone.
