DeathBoy

London (UK) based electronic Industrial project by musician and producer Scott Lamb. First using the Deathboy moniker in 1995, it wasn't until 2001 that Lamb, along with the original line-up of Jason Knight (guitars), Adam Gelman (bass) - both of whom had been discovered via the net.goth online server - Phil Palmer (drums) and Ben Noz Urbina (guitars), though Urbina left after 3 gigs to compose music under the name DJ Solution. Urbina was replaced by Nathan "Hexa-dB" Parton (keyboards), though they would also leave after the same number of gigs, leaving the group as a four-piece until 2005, when they would recruit Lee Chaos, who was a live keyboardist from Wasp Factory recordings. That same year the band would sign to Line Out records, which would lead to their second album's release 'End of an Error' in 2006. Many DeathBoy albums, EPs and collections were available for download free of charge from their website, as a part of Lamb's "release early and often" policy, mirroring an ethic of the open-source software movement.
